HR Manager:

Essential Qualification: :Bachelor or Masters in the specific domain.

Experience: :5-10 years of relevant experience.

Functional Competencies: :Understanding the HR process, policies and statutory compliance. Demonstrates proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Psychological Counselor:

Essential Qualification: :Must have relevant degree in Psychological Counseling/ Psychotherapy.

Experience: :5-10 years of relevant experience.

Functional Competencies: :Understanding of psychological counseling of students and staff. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

 

Primary School Teacher:

Required Experience: : Experience in handling the pupils at this stage – between 3 to 5 years of age would be an added qualification. International school experience is preferred.

Desired qualification, certifications or trainings:: The candidate must have a degree in Teacher’s Training or an equivalent degree in teaching Primary level students. The candidate must be proficient in English and other core subjects like Mathematics, Science, appropriate for that level.

Essential attributes: :The candidate must have excellent communication skill, must be amiable, compassionate and affectionate in her demeanour. Interest and skill in co curricular pursuits will be seen as a value addition.

 

Teachers for Junior School:

  •  History Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience in teaching Junior School. International Board experience will be preferred.

Desired qualification:: Masters in assigned subject as well as Bachelor or Masters in Education.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

  •  Science/ICT Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience in teaching Junior School. International Board experience will be preferred.

Desired qualification:: Masters in assigned subject as well as Bachelors or Masters in Education.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of programming languages.

  •  English Teacher

Incumbent Specification: :
– Strong command of English language and grammar
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
– Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced international school environment
– Willingness to participate in professional development and training

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience in teaching Junior School. International Board experience will be preferred.

Desired qualification:: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree in English.Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed or equivalent)

Essential attributes: : Candidates should possess sound knowledge and understanding of how the English language works, constructs meaning and evokes responses from the audience. The candidate should be well spoken, fluent in expressing themselves with clarity, and well read. They must be well versed in literature as well, with the competency of inculcating a genuine appreciation of the language in students. They should be open to learning, display good work habits and be updated about pedagogical strategies that aid learning and teaching. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

Teachers for Senior School:

  •  German Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience will be preferred. International Board experience will be preferred.

Desired qualification:: Bachelors and Masters in assigned subject, or at least a B2 and C1 at the diploma level.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

  •  Business Studies Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience will be preferred. International Board experience will be preferred.

Desired qualification:: Master’s in the assigned subject. B.Ed would be preferred.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

  •  French Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience will be preferred. International Board experience will be preferred. Freshers welcome to apply too.

Desired qualification:: Bachelors and Masters in assigned subject, or at least a B2 at the diploma level. C1 would be preferred.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

  •  Geography Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience and/or International Board experience will be preferred. However, a fresher with the right aptitude and skills could also be considered.

Desired qualification:: Masters/Diploma in assigned subject as well as Bachelors or Masters in Education.

Essential attributes: : Understands the requirements of effective classroom management. Understanding the need of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

  •  Mathematics Teacher

Required Experience: : Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience teaching Mathematics.Familiarity with international curricula (IB/IGCSE/A-Level preferred).Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Desired qualification:: Master’s degree in Mathematics. Teaching certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education.

Essential attributes: : Teach Mathematics to students from Grade 6-12. Develop engaging and challenging lesson plans aligned with international curricula (e.g. IB, IGCSE, A-Level). Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students. Assess and track student progress, providing guidance and support.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics program.

  •  Computer Science/ICT Teacher

Required Experience: : Masters/Diploma in assigned subject as well as Bachelors or Masters in Education.

Desired qualification:: Masters/Diploma in assigned subject as well as Bachelors or Masters in Education.

Essential attributes: : Understands the requirements of effective classroom management Understanding the need of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

Teachers for Middle School:

  •  English Teacher

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience will be preferred. International Board experience will be preferred. Candidates specialising in teaching English language and literature across Grades 6 to 8 will be considered.

Desired qualification:: Masters’ in assigned subject with a B.Ed. degree.

Essential attributes: : Understanding the need of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office.

 

CCA Coordinator

Required Experience: : 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Desired qualification: :Graduate with reasonably good grades. Knowledge of some Co-Curricular activities–certifications and accomplishments will be an added advantage.

Domain Knowledge:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in organising, and implementation of co- curricular activities and events.
  • Experience in handling public relations and media engagements will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to relate to students with different cultural and social backgrounds as well as foster and sustain students’ interest in an activity program.
Computer Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing mass communication through electronic media, designing and delivering presentations working with large Databases.
Leadership Competencies:
  • Preferred leadership Competencies of Calcutta International School.
