My journey with CIS over the past 15 years has been truly fulfilling. From the very first day, I have felt a deep sense of belonging. CIS is more than just a workplace; it’s a family. As a Performing Arts faculty member, I cherish every moment spent here. The energy and enthusiasm of the students, the unwavering support of my colleagues, and the encouragement from the management make this place incredibly special.
There’s something unique about our school culture. We often arrive before time and rarely leave as soon as the last bell rings—it’s a sign of how much we love being here. One of my favorite experiences has been working during the EYP years, when the entire school comes together for stage performances. It’s a joy to collaborate with students from Pre-Nursery to Grade 10. With just a small idea or stimulus, a full-fledged performance takes shape, thanks to the incredible support from the teachers and the SLT.
And of course, our staffroom is always filled with warmth—and food! Whether it’s a birthday, an appraisal, or just an ordinary day, we celebrate together. We eat, laugh, share, and care. That’s the spirit of CIS—our second home.
